On May 25, 2019, a conference for math teachers, organized by the ESFTUG NGO Professional Development Center for Employees in Georgian Educational Institutions was held. The theme of the conference was “Promoting Cooperative Culture and Innovative Teaching Methods among Public School Mathematics Teachers”. The second conference for mathematics teachers was held within the project “Promoting Cooperative Culture and Professional Development among Public School Mathematics Teachers”.

179 participants from Tbilisi, Kakheti, Kvemo Kartli, Shida Kartli, Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Sachkhere and Chiatura municipalities were present at the conference. This project was held with the support of National Center for Teacher Professional Development and Millennium Challenge Account. The aim of this cooperation is promoting cooperative culture and innovative teaching methods among public school middle and high-level mathematics teachers. Within this project there were 344 workshops for middle and high-level mathematics teachers, in which 1402 teachers from all parts of Georgia took part. The ESFTUG county organization chairpersons played a special role in organizing events and activities within this project.
