The delegates of the congress congratulated the members of the newly elected Executive Board of the Education International (EI) and expressed their gratitude to the meritorious members of the EI governing bodies.

It should be noted that the representation of women in the EI executive body has increased. Susan Hopgood remarked: “We always demand gender equality in our trade unions, companies and institutions. Today, the fact that the situation in our Executive Council has changed is remarkable. The congress made a very strong message - it chose 15 women and 12 men in the governing body ... We look forward to working together for the next 4 years. "

It is the responsibility of the newly elected Executive Board members to implement resolutions adopted at the 8th World Congress and to develop directions globally. In the final part of the congress, EI President Susan Hopgood awarded certificates of appreciation to the well-known, dedicated, regional leaders and supervisors of the International Education Association.
