On April 28, the ESFTUG’s Khelvachauri branch organization’s reporting-election conference was held. 55 delegates attended the conference and unanimously elected Jemal Japaridze as the head of ESFTUG’s Khelvachauri branch organization. The ESFTUG’s president Maia Kobakhidze and vice-presidents, Natia Kordzadze attended the conference. Head of the ESFTUG’s Adjara Autonomous Republic, Alexander Beridze, the head of Resource Center Khatuna Didmanidze and also Resource Center’s chief specialists Nino Bolkvadze, head of the kindergarten’s union Nato Sharvashidze and other invited guests attended the conference.

Head of the ESFTUG’s Khelvachauri branch organization, Jemal Japaridze opened the conference. He thanked the guests and delegates for coming and presented organization’s 5-year activity report, she spoke about the implemented projects, about the activities and events. In his speech, Jemal Japaridze made a main focus on teachers’ certification, on conducted workshops and on trade union’s members’ responsibilities. He also underlined the main priority of the organization – attraction the new members.

Traditionally, ESFTUG’s president, Maia Kobakhidze, greeted the audience and spoke about the organization’s achievements. ESFTUG’s president in her speech made specific accents, specifically she spoke about teachers’ salaries, about organization’s achievements and success, about the Sectoral Agreement, about the won processes.

After the president’s speech the conference continued in question and answer format.
