
On April 30, the ESFTUG’s Kharagauli branch organization’s reporting-election conference was held. 56 delegates attended the conference and unanimously elected Lali Sepiskveradze as the head of ESFTUG’s Kharagauli branch organization. ESFTUG’s president Maia Kobakhidze, vice-president Mari Alugishvili, the head of ESFTUG’s education and quality management department Teimuraz Kiknadze, acting head of Kharagauli Resource Center Tinatin Bochorishvili, head of the Kharagauli Municipality city council, Manana Barbakadze, deputy chairman of Kharagauli resource center Rusudan Giorgadze, Kharagauli municipality education, culture and sport committee chairman, Davit Kiknadze, the preschool Association director, Mamuka Chipashvili, Youth center director, Maia Bluashvili and public schools’ principals attended the conference. Also the representatives of local media: editor of the newspaper “Chemi Imereti”, Laura Gigoladze and journalist Nino Kapanadze, Tamar Magradze, journalist from “Akhali Kharagauli” and other invited guests attended the conference.
Head of the ESFTUG’s Kharagauli branch organization, Lali Sebiskveradze opened the conference. She thanked the guests and delegates for coming and presented organization’s 2013-2018 activity report, she spoke about the implemented projects, about the activities and events.
The conference delegates were greeted by the ESFTUG’s president, Maia Kobakhidze. She summed up the results of organization’s 4-year work. She drew attention to implemented changes in legislative and subordinate normative acts, which were made according to the ESFTUG’s initiatives and which improved the school teachers' labor, social-economic, legal, and professional rights. ESFTUG’s president and the audience discussed relevant issues and problems in the question-answer mode.
At the end of the conference head of the ESFTUG’s Kharagauli branch organization awarded the 6 special teachers – members of the organization.
