
Conference participants were welcomed by the head of ESFTUG’s Kvareli branch organization Levan Baliauri. He thanked members of organization for trust and noted that organization has strong team, which fights for protection of its members’ rights and for raising their qualification and improving of their social-economic conditions. “Our hard work has its results - we have 44 primary organizations in the region with 890 members. We will continue our work for attracting new members while our strength is in our amount and solidarity” – mentioned Levan Baliauri.
83 delegates, with ESFTUG’s vice-president, Natia Kordzadze, head of ESFTUG’s financial and material resources management department, Melania Darakhvelidze, head of Kvareli Resource Center Ketevan Chipashvili, head of Kvareli preschool educational institution Maia Samitashvili, chief specialist of this institution Natela Gioshvili and other invited guests attended the conference.
ESFTUG’s vice-president Natia Kordzadze welcomed the delegates and guests and thanked them for coming, for active participation. She talked about ESFTUG’s activities and achievements in terms of improving teachers' social-economic situation, labor and legal rights, professional development and teachers' professional prestige. She also emphasized organization’s priorities which achievement remains as the main challenge.
Delegates elected Levan Baliauri as the head of ESFTUG’s Kvareli branch organization for 4 year term.
At the end of the conference several members of ESFTUG were awarded with certificates for their activities and special contributions made into the union.
