Reporting-election conferences of the ESFTUG’s regional/city organizations are underway. On May 27, 2018 the 3rd reporting-election conference, held by the ESFTUG’s Kaspi branch organization was participated by 60 delegates and special guests: Teimuraz Kiknadze, head of the ESFTUG Education and Quality management Department, Thea Khorbaladze, head of Kaspi Municipality department of Culture, Nana Merebashvili, editor of Kaspi Regional Newspaper "New Gantiadi", Nana Barnabishvili, principal of village Sasireti public school and Directors of Municipalities’ Kindergartens

The head of ESFTUG’s Kaspi branch organization, Giuli Soziashvili presented activity report of her

four-year term to the audience. Her report was composed by three main directions: 1) Union’s achievements 2) 4-year activities 3) Future vision and priorities. The ESFTUG's Kaspi branch organization's leader spoke about the achievements of ESFTUG at national, as well as at international level.

,,From 2014, teachers’ basic salaries increased into two stages; since June 2017, teachers’ sick leave allowances are reimbursed from their full salaries”-noted the speaker. She described the essence of the ,,Sectoral Agreement” signed by the Ministry of Education and Science and the ESFTUG as a guarantee for proper protection of members’ socio-economic and legal rights.

,,Last four years the international relations of the ESFTUG has been expanded, that offered the organization broad possibilities to discuss positive tendencies and challenges in education at the international level” – noted Giuli Soziashvili.

She openly spoke about the obstacles and reasons of the anti-union campaigns in the Kaspi municipality, which hindered the proper reorganization of the membership.

Despite the mentioned circumstances, the trust of the public schools' and kindergartens' employees from the Kaspi municipality were rebuilt, nowadays it is represented by 360 members. While delivering the report, the head of the ESFTUG's Kaspi branch organization,

Giuli Soziashvili spoke about her further plans and efforts to increase the membership and strengthen the organization. Therefore she called on the primary organizations to be more active to attract more members.

The Head of the ESFTUG's Kaspi branch organization summed up her speech by the cites from the Trade Union's anthem.

Delegates from schools and kindergartens, along with the guests, speakers positively appreciated the ESFTUG's Kaspi branch organization and its leader’s commitments. Conference delegates elected Giuli Soziashvili as the head of ESFTUG's Kaspi branch organization, they also elected ESFTUG's Kaspi organization's board and two delegates for the ESFTUG's Reporting Election Congress.

At the end of the conference, Giuli Sozanashvili awarded the trade union's active members with the special certificates.
