At the end of the last academic year, the ESFTUG’s Central Office has implemented an intensive organizing program to increase awareness of civil and trade union activities in the Tkibuli educational institutions. Ekaterine Chelidze, teacher of the public school in Tkibuli was actively involved in these activities. Through her efforts and enthusiasm, information and trade union activities in most of Tkibuli municipality educational institutions were managed.
As a result, in just a few months more than 100 employees expressed their confidence in the activities of the ESFTUG.
The reporting-election conference of ESFTUG’s Tkibuli branch organization was held on September 28, 2018, 16 delegates, ESFTUG’s active members and invited guests participated in the work of conference.
At the conference, Ekaterine Chelidze presented detailed report on the activities carried out by Tkibuli branch organization to the audience.
Ekaterine Chelidze thanked the leaders of ESFTUG and ESFTUG’s central office and each member for supporting her activities. Ekaterine Chelidze actively cares on professional growth and development of ESFTUG’s members.
It should be noted that in spite of a short time, members of ESFTUG’s Tkibuli branch organization participated in the pilot project of ESFTUG and partner organization GL.
In June, 2018, the members of the Tkibuli branch organization conducted training courses that facilitate professional development in two directions: "Research of Pedagogical Practice " and "Professional Skills". Also, teachers and their family members enjoyed a summer vacation program. With the mediation of Ekaterine Chelidze, legal support and legal consultations of the public schools and kindergartens in Tkibuli region are intensively going on, which leads to great interest and willingness among Tkibuli region education workers. ESFTUG’s president Maia Kobakhidze presented four years report to the participants of the conference and honorable guests. She discussed with the participants about the ongoing processes in the field of education, answered the questions asked by the teachers.
The delegates of the Tkibuli branch organization planed the main directions for further strengthening the organization at the regional level, taking into consideration the action plan prepared by the candidate. The Action Plan of Ekaterine Chelidze envisages providing information on the ongoing processes in the field of education; Get acquainted with the changes initiated by the ESFTUG; Development of primary trade union organizations; Active involvement of members in trade union activities; Identification and elimination of individual problems; Attracting and attaching new members; Professional practice of asset and leaders; Stimulating primary organizations; Conducting training-seminars for facilitating professional growth of teachers and ESFTUG’s members and facilitating their professional counseling.

ESFTUG’s President Maia Kobakhidze awarded Nunu Rapava, Nani Ambroladze, Shota Jinjikhadze, Nana Maisuradze, Kishvardi Gochelashvili and Irine Kordzaia with honorary diplomas for their "Special Merits to Trade Union Work".
From September 27, 2018, the Delegates of the Conference unanimously trusted Ekaterine Chelidze and ESFTUG’s Tkibuli branch organization.
On behalf of organization leaders, ESFTUG thanks Ekaterine Chelidze, that she united teachers of Tkibuli region in the ESFTUG’s family for the ESFTUG’s 9th reporting-election congress.
